Rishi Pal is renowned Speech/Language therapist in Delhi NCR. He has been a successful SLP for more than 10 years. He has done BASLP from AYJNIHH,NRC in 2010 and after completing his graduation in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology he cleared the All India entrance examination of the premier Institute of Speech & Hearing, AIISH Mysore. His Master in SLP has been the foundation of his Speech Therapy skills. His special areas of interest & expertise are Autism, Delayed Speech in young pediatric population. He has a vast experience in dealing with children and adults with communication problems . TWLC is the fastest growing organization for speech therapy in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.This is a centre for evaluation and management of children with special needs amongst the society. The wings learning centre provides a wide variety of services to individuals and their families who face the life-long challenges of developmental disabilities, autism, pervasive developmental disorder, Asperger's syndrome, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, developmental delays, down's syndrome, cerebral palsy etc. We always strive hard to extract the exceptional skills in the child which are really essential to live in the society. Our Special needs center have a wonderful team of speech and language therapist, special educator, ABA Therapist and Occupational Therapist. An individual education plan is developed for each child and continuously monitored. Therapists provide assessment and diagnosis, recommend prescriptive goals and provide remediation where needed. Therapists focus their efforts to meet the special needs of individual students, including delayed auditory processing, concept formation, conversational skills, articulation and vocabulary growth. Therapy may include the use of assistive technology such as computers or communication devices, as indicated by student need.

Special Education is that component of education which employs special instructional methodology (Remedial Instruction), instructional materials, learning-teaching aids and equipment to meet educational needs of children with specific learning disabilities. Remedial instruction or Remediation aims at improving a skill or ability in a student. Techniques for remedial instruction may include providing more practice or more explanation, repeating information, and devoting more time to working on the skill. For example, a student having a low reading level could be given remediation via one-on-one reading instruction, phonic instruction, or practice in reading aloud.

Occupational Therapy is the assessment and treatment of physical and psychiatric conditions using specific, purposeful activity to prevent disability and promote independent function in all aspects of daily life.
Occupational therapy is provided when there is a disruption in function in one or more of the following the areas:

       	Gross Motor Skills : movement of the large muscles in the arms, and legs. Abilities like rolling, crawling, walking, running, jumping, hopping, skipping etc 

        	Fine Motor Skills : movement and dexterity of the small muscles in the hands and fingers. Abilities like in-hand manipulation, reaching, carrying, shifting small objects etc. 

         	Cognitive Perceptual Skills: Abilities like attention, concentration, memory, comprehending information, thinking, reasoning, problem solving, understanding concept of shape, size and colors etc. 

           	Sensory Integration : ability to take in, sort out, and respond to the input received from the world. Sensory processing abilities like vestibular, proprioceptive, tactile, visual, auditory, gustatory and olfactory skills. 

            	Visual Motor Skills : a child's movement based on the perception of visual information. Abilities like copying. 

               	Motor Planning Skills : ability to plan, implement, and sequence motor tasks. 

               	Oral Motor Skills : amovement of muscles in the mouth, lips, tongue, and jaw, including sucking, biting, chewing, blowing and licking. 

               	Socio-emotional skills : ability to interact with peers and others.

               	Play skills : to develop age appropriate, purposeful play skills

                	Activities of daily living :Self-care skills like daily dressing, feeding, grooming and toilet tasks. Also environment manipulation like handling switches, door knobs, phones, TV remote etc.

Occupational therapists in schools collaborate with teachers, special educators, other school personnel, and parents to develop and implement individual or group programs, provide counseling, and support classroom activities.

Occupational therapists design and develop equipment or techniques for improving existing mode of functioning.

ABA, applied behavioral analysis, is simply the application of behavioral principles, to everyday situations, that will, over time, increase or decrease targeted behaviors. ABA has been used to help individuals acquire many different skills, such as language skills, self-help skills, and play skills; in addition, these principles can help to decrease maladaptive behaviors such as aggression, self-stimulatory behaviors, and self-injury. There are many providers of ABA services, many of whom are quite good. Frequently, a parent will choose a qualified provider with whom they share similar philosophical approaches in the application of intensive behavioral interventions.

Social skills groups are small groups (typically two to eight kids) led by an adult who teaches the kids how to interact appropriately with others their age. They can help kids learn conversational, friendship and problem-solving skills. They can also be useful in teaching kids to control their emotions and understand other people’s perspectives.
A school psychologist or a speech therapist might lead a social skills group in school. Groups are also offered privately, outside of school.
